Our family has been in dairy farming since 1890, when fresh, raw milk was the norm and local milk was always the go to.

Village Milk began in 2012, when we started supplying milk from the family farm in Takaka using a dispensing machine imported from Italy.

The success of the setup was a clear indication of the popularity of farm fresh milk. Since then we have helped numerous farms around the country get set up with their own milk dispensers and are now the exclusive NZ distributor for DF Italia dispensing machines. 

We now offer an end-to-end consultancy service helping farms to plan and implement their farm gate sales setup, providing advice on everything from MPI registration to transit planning.

We still supply fresh, raw, unpasteurised milk from our Takaka farm. If you get the chance, stop by and try our milk. Nothing beats the taste of fresh milk straight from the farm.
